Multiple Page Modes

To ensure readability on every device, Dearflip offers an impressive Page Mode feature. This allows you to manually set the page mode or automatically adjust the page mode based on the viewer's device. There are three types of page mode options to choose from:

  1. Double Page Mode
  2. Single Page Mode
  3. Auto

Double Page Mode

The Dearflip Flipbook Joomla Extension can present your flipbook in double-page mode, showing two pages at once, except for the first and last pages. When set to Double Page Mode, this layout is maintained across all devices, whether large or small screens. This mode offers a realistic, book-like experience with a seamless page-turning effect. However, Double Page Mode may be difficult to read on smaller devices like mobile phones. In such cases, switching to Single Page Mode is recommended.

Single Page Mode

Similarly, your readers may prefer using mobile devices to access your content. For optimal readability on smaller screens, Single Page mode is an excellent choice, allowing readers to flip through one page at a time. The Dearflip Joomla Flipbook Extension can showcase stunning flipbooks even on mobile devices, with a Single Page mode designed specifically for readability on these screens. This mode offers two options: Normal Zoom mode and Booklet mode.

In Normal Zoom mode, it feels like reading a real book, displaying two pages at a time but zooming in on the main page for better readability.

In contrast, Booklet mode displays one page at a time, allowing readers to swipe to the next or previous page.

Can the flipbook flaunt its page-turning effect without compromising readability? Absolutely! Let's explore the option that makes this possible.

Auto

Dearflip Joomla Flipbook Extension provides a control bar in each flipbook, allowing readers to select their preferred page mode. Additionally, Dearflip offers auto-adjustable page mode options to enhance user experience. By setting the Page Mode to Auto, the flipbook will automatically switch between single and double page modes based on the viewing device. For larger screens like laptops, desktops, and iPads, the flipbook will be displayed in double-page mode, while on smaller devices like mobile phones, it will switch to single-page mode for optimal readability.
